Hubie Brown Will Be Commentator on Clippers’ 20 Televised Games
Former NBA Coach Hubie Brown will provide color commentary on the 20 Clipper games to be televised by KTLA, Channel 5, this season.
Brown joins Ralph Lawler, who returns for his second season as play-by-play announcer.
KTLA, in its fourth season of Clipper telecasts, begins its coverage Nov. 19 when the Clippers play the Denver Nuggets. The schedule includes three games against the Lakers, one against the Boston Celtics, two against the Detroit Pistons, two against the Dallas Mavericks and two against the Atlanta Hawks.
Brown, most recently head coach of the New York Knicks, has been an analyst on telecasts of National Basketball Assn. playoff games and National Collegiate Athletic Assn. tournament games.
Lawler, also the Clippers’ radio announcer, formerly called television play-by-play for the Philadelphia 76ers.
