Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli and Sammy Davis Jr. announced Thursday at a Los Angeles press conference that they will hold a benefit concert Nov. 26 at the Forum. Proceeds from the show will go to the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center in Palm Springs. Five premium-priced tickets to the concert will include post-show supper with the stars. The “Ultimate Event” concert tour was to have begun Saturday in Houston, but the Texas date was rescheduled to Oct. 9 because of uncertain weather conditions involving Hurricane Gilbert. The tour, sponsored by Michelob, will now begin Sunday at Arizona State University in Tempe. In addition, the trio announced Thursday that they will tour Europe, Australia and Asia next year. The Forum show will be the only California date.
