Wrestling fans are in for a grand slam: Everyone who follows the “sport” knows that the WWF (that’s the World Wrestling Federation) is where most of the laughs . . . sorry, action is, and the latest of about a zillion of the organization’s tapes, “WWF Summerslam ‘88” (Coliseum, $39.95) reaches the stores this weekend. It’s a two-hour rush-release covering the bouts held Aug. 29 at Madison Square Garden and featuring Hulk Hogan, Randy (Macho Man) Savage, et al.

Meanwhile, a WWF competitor, the AWWF (American Women’s Wrestling Federation), where the Cajun Queen, Kitten Steele and Carmen de las Fruitas hold forth, has put out “AWWF Premiere” (Media, $39.95), an hour of female combat that has very little to do with the feminist struggle.
