Former heavyweight contender Mitch Green was arrested for the second time in one week and charged with beating his girlfriend.

Police arrested Green late Saturday after a woman complained she was struck by the boxer at her nearby Harlem apartment, said Sgt. Maurice Howard, a police spokesman, who identified the woman only as being 32 and the mother of Green’s child.

Green, 31, who was to be held overnight on a third-degree assault charge, sparred with the law earlier in the week when he was arested Wednesday for an alleged outburst on a Harlem street corner. Emergency Service Unit officers used a stungun to subdue the boxer.

Green, who lives in Jamaica, Queens, was in a brawl with heavyweight champion Mike Tyson Aug. 23 in Harlem, suffering cuts and a swollen left eye and leaving Tyson with a broken hand.
