Local News in Brief : Man’s Beaten Body Found in Arleta Park
Los Angeles police homicide detectives are investigating the slaying of a Latino man whose body was discovered at 6:30 a.m. Saturday in Branford Park in Arleta.
The man, who carried no identification, was apparently beaten to death several hours before his body was spotted by two women walking through the park, Detective Richard Aldahl said.
Police have not determined a motive for the slaying.
