4 Arrested in Producer's Death

Four people have been arrested in the Los Angeles area, Florida and Maryland in connection with the 1983 slaying of theatrical and motion picture producer Roy Alexander Radin, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department officials announced today.

Radin, 33, disappeared May 13, 1983, on his way to a business meeting in Beverly Hills. His decomposed body was found nearly a month later in a stream in rural northern Los Angeles County. He had been shot in what authorities described as a murder for hire. Arrested over the weekend were William Molony Mentzer, 39, of Canoga Park; Alex Lamota Marti, 27, of Sherman Oaks; Karen Delayne Jacobs, 35, of Okeechobee, Fla., and Robert Ulmer Lowe, 42, of Rockville, Md. Lowe and Mentzer also are being held in connection with the 1984 slaying of prostitute June Mincher.
