S.D. Man Arrested in Murder-for-Hire Plot
A San Diego psychologist was arrested Thursday afternoon on suspicion of soliciting murder.
Donald A. Sonn, 33, of the 7800 block of Camino Gloria, was held on two counts involving an alleged plot to hire someone to kill a San Diego businessman, Sgt. Roy Hood of the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said.
The intended victim’s name was not released, and the investigation is continuing, Hood said.
Sonn was booked into County Jail at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, and his bail was set at $750,000.
