County Elections Promise More Than a Measure of Controversy : ‘No on K’ Claims for Newport Beach
- Share via
Deceit and lies, bankrolled by the large developers, make up the heart of “no on K” propaganda in Newport Beach. The opposition claims to seek traffic solutions when they have never proposed one.
The truth is that the “no on K” forces want to change Newport from a suburban to an urban area. The chairman of “no on K” has stated as much. According to him, the supporters of the traffic management initiative want Newport Beach to be a residential city. Newport Beach can’t afford to be a residential city.
Residents had better think about it. For a big city with big city problems, residents will vote no on K. For a residential community with safe neighborhoods, residents will vote yes on K.
