Western Christian 29, L.A. Baptist 6--Bob Maddex rushed for a game-high 88 yards in 10 carries and scored a touchdown for Western Christian (6-4, 3-2) at Charter Oak High.

Colyn VanBuren rushed for 55 yards in 17 carries for L. A. Baptist (4-6, 1-4). He also tossed a 25-yard pass on a tailback-option play to set up the Knights’ touchdown.

Doug Cox, who had 59 yards in 8 carries, scored on a 6-yard run to cap an 8-play, 62-yard drive in the fourth quarter.
