Mary Star defensive back Billy Brock intercepted three passes, returning one for a touchdown, as the Stars clinched a playoff spot with a 35-0 win over Pater Noster. Brock is tied for the area lead with seven interceptions.
Serra’s defense recorded nine sacks and held St. Bernard to minus 21 yards rushing as the Cavaliers clinched the Camino Real League title with a 28-6 victory. Tackle Louis Laffitte led the team with four sacks.
Westchester running back Tim Holliday rushed for 135 yards and 2 touchdowns to help Westchester beat University, 15-14, and win the Western League title.

Leuzinger’s defense, which had allowed an average of 160 yards through 9 games, gave up 392 yards rushing in a 41-28 loss to Santa Monica for the Bay League title. The Vikings finished with 457 total yards.
Inglewood completed the worst football season in the school’s history by dropping a 43-0 Bay League decision to Hawthorne. The Sentinels finished 0-9 and were outscored 285-67.
San Pedro, picked to win the Southern League title in a preseason coaches poll, ended up in third and out of the playoffs after losing to Gardena, 13-0, in a showdown for second. The Pirates (3-7) lost six of their last seven games.
Miraleste’s first year in the Olympic League turned out to be a pointless experience. The Marauders were shut out in three of five games, including a 6-0 loss to Orange Lutheran on Saturday.
