Broadway Pointe’s Win Gives Stevens a Triple
Broadway Pointe was jostled in the first few strides but took the lead and beat Reconnoitering by 3 1/2 lengths in the $40,000 feature at Hollywood Park Thursday.
The victory provided jockey Gary Stevens with his first triple of the meeting. Time for the six furlongs was 1:10, and the winner paid $5.80, $3.20 and $2.60. He earned $22,000 for owners Mr. and Mrs. Michael House.
Reconnoitering, with Aaron Gryder aboard, paid $3.80 and $2.60. Seattle Knight, with Laffit Pincay up, paid $3.20.
