Local News in Brief : Michael Jackson Concerts Postponed

Singer Michael Jackson’s concerts scheduled for Sunday, Monday and Tuesday in the Sports Arena have been postponed because he remains ill.

Jackson was unable to perform here earlier this week at the Exposition Park arena because of swollen vocal chords, and no new information about his condition was available Friday.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles Coliseum-Sports Arena said fans should hold on to their tickets until dates for the rescheduled performances are announced. No refunds will be made in the meantime, he said.
