10 Hurt as Amtrak Train Hits Truck at Crossing

GRENADA, Miss. —
An Amtrak train hit a logging truck at a highway crossing Tuesday, injuring 10 people and slicing the truck in half, authorities said. The train did not derail, Amtrak spokeswoman Debbie Hare said. Officials said the truck’s driver apparently failed to yield for the train.
