Local News in Brief : Seal Beach : Suspicious Activity Leads to Man’s Arrest
A man seen knocking on doors and climbing a fence in the Marble Cove area was arrested because of the vigilance of a witness, police said Wednesday.
Warren Marr, 20, of Huntington Beach was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property and possession of narcotics, a police spokeswoman said.
An unidentified witness telephoned police and reported seeing a person knocking on the front doors of homes after he had parked a motorcycle. When police investigated, they found the motorcycle had been reported stolen from Huntington Beach, police said.
Marr was arrested after he ran through several back yards, a police spokeswoman said.
