The Cincinnati Reds have signed free-agent pitcher Rick Mahler.
Mahler, 35, was 9-16 with a 3.69 ERA for Atlanta last season.
Mahler, a right-hander, had a 78-88 record in 10 years with the Braves. He had a 12-4 career record against Cincinnati.
