Beverly Hills : 3 Parking Structures Open
Working night shifts in an effort to beat the Christmas rush, workers have completed three parking structures along Santa Monica Boulevard in the Beverly Hills shopping district and hope to open a fourth on Friday.
When the last of five planned structures is opened on the week before Christmas, 410 parking spaces will be available to replace the 80 spaces that were once available there, city officials said.
Meters will be 50 cents an hour, with a maximum stay of 90 minutes.
