While Cree Morris, Lenny McGill and the rest of the Orange Glen football team continued preparations for Saturday night’s San Diego Section 3-A championship game against Morse, the Orange Glen basketball team continued to struggle Thursday night.

Morris and McGill, who start in basketball, will join Coach Brian Mulligan’s team next week. But the Patriots are now 0-4 after an 87-66 loss to North Bakersfield in the Bakersfield tournament.

“Right now, it’s a little hard to keep the morale up,” Mulligan said. “But at least, we know help is on the way.”
