Local News in Brief : Huntington Beach : Update Scheduled on Redevelopment Area
An update on progress in the downtown redevelopment area will be offered at a Town Hall meeting Thursday at City Hall. The hourlong meeting will begin at 5 p.m. and include a discussion on how better to promote the downtown area to potential shoppers, residents and merchants.
The Town Hall meetings, which are held the third Thursday of each month and are open to the public, are designed to inform residents of events and developments in the 336-acre downtown redevelopment area, which stretches along the coast from Beach Boulevard north to Golden West Street.
