An argument between two brothers in a Van Nuys apartment ended when one shot the other to death, Los Angeles police said Friday.
Police officers, called to the apartment in the 7300 block of Woodman Avenue at 10 p.m. Thursday, found Pedro Hernandez, 30, dead on the floor, Detective Steven Hooks said.
The dead man’s brother, Crispin Hernandez, 38, was arrested at the apartment on suspicion of murder and was being held without bail at the Van Nuys Jail.
The brothers, who lived in the apartment with three other men, had been arguing for an unknown reason when Crispin shot his brother in the upper body with a handgun, Hooks said.
