Volleyball’s Starlites Draft UCI’s Roberts

Kris Roberts of UC Irvine was selected by the Los Angeles Starlites in the second round of the women’s Major League Volleyball draft Sunday.
Roberts, a 6-foot 4-inch middle blocker, was the sixth player selected in the second round. She was one of 7 players from the Big West Conference selected in the draft.
The Major League Volleyball season begins Feb. 17.
