An unidentified young woman remained in critical condition at Stanford University Hospital on Christmas Day after she was dumped outside the hospital door with a gunshot wound to her head. The woman, who was naked and wrapped in a blanket, was pushed from a car outside the hospital about 8 a.m. on Saturday. Palo Alto Police Sgt. Bill Massey said the woman had been shot once in the head and was found by a hospital groundskeeper who called police. The woman, believed to be in her early 30s, underwent surgery and remained in the intensive care ward Sunday. The man seen dumping the woman was said to be driving a light blue car, police said.
