A 38-year-old woman was injured Wednesday morning on Interstate 5 when her car collided with a school bus while changing lanes, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The motorist, Lilia Ciballos, of San Diego was northbound on the freeway, just south of Interstate 8, when her car was hit on the left side by the bus. She was taken to UC San Diego Medical Center, where she underwent surgery for treatment of leg injuries.
None of the children on the bus were injuried.
