Middleweight Anthony Hembrick, who was disqualified from his opening match at the Olympics when he showed up late, survived a broken hand and won a unanimous decision over South Korea’s s Chung Dong Hwan at a USA-Korea dual meet at Atlantic City, N.J.
The United States won 8 of the 10 matches.
Hembrick said he broke his left hand in the first round, but he dominated the fight despite his inability to jab.
