Local : Anaheim Motorcyclist Dies in Crash

An Anaheim motorcyclist died instantly when he crashed into the back of a three-axle truck on the Garden Grove Freeway, a California Highway Patrol spokeswoman said today. Martin E. Henley, 28, was driving his 1978 Yamaha motorcycle at 85 to 90 m.p.h. eastbound near Harbor Boulevard at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, when he passed two cars between lanes and slammed into the truck, CHP Officer Leslie Hill said. Henley was not wearing a helmet. No one else was injured.
