In another Sea View League game:

Saddleback 63, Tustin 31--Melody Mayfield’s 31 points and 15 rebounds led Saddleback (11-7, 2-2). Wanda Suquera led Tustin (10-10, 2-2) with 7 points. Saddleback outscored Tustin, 21-7, in the third quarter.

In the Angelus League:

Mater Dei 67, St. Joseph 43--Mater Dei (15-5, 5-0) was sparked by Cori Martin’s 20 points and 13 rebounds and Kelly O’Brien’s 19 points and 14 rebounds. Lisa Fernandez scored 14 points and Dana Montoya added 13 for St. Joseph (14-4, 4-1).

Bishop Amat 55, Rosary 43--Inez Ayala had 14 points and Stacey Oughton added 13 for Bishop Amat (12-6, 3-2). Rosary (8-5, 1-4) made just 9 baskets but scored 23 points on free throws.

In the Century League:

Canyon 53, Santa Ana 24--Keri Brkenbrack scored 14 points, Jill Zaborniak 12 and Sherri Ryne 10 for visiting Canyon (14-5, 5-0), which is in first place at the halfway point in league play. Santa Ana is 8-8, 1-4.

Foothill 48, Santa Ana Valley 38--Kristy Walker had 18 points and Tanya Foxe added 13 as Foothill (11-8, 4-1) ran away in the third quarter after a 20-20 halftime score. Maria Guerrero led Santa Ana Valley (9-6, 3-2) with 16 points.

In the Empire League:

Loara 47, Esperanza 46--Michelle Roland scored 18 points to lead host Loara (13-8, 3-2). Jennifer Harney scored 18 points for Esperanza. Esperanza scored a 3-pointer as time ran out to close within 1 point.

Los Alamitos 50, El Dorado 43--Cheri Stephens had 24 points and 13 rebounds to lead Los Alamitos. Melissa Jantz had 13 points and 12 rebounds for El Dorado (3-8, 0-4). Los Alamitos led, 23-22, at halftime.

In the Freeway League:

Fullerton 40, Sunny Hills 38--Laurie Maturo scored 11 points to lead host Fullerton (14-6, 4-1). Natalie Lessey scored 14 for Sunny Hills.

In the Olympic League:

Capistrano Valley Christian 46, Santa Margarita 43--Point guard Carrie Shannon scored 30 points to lead host Capistrano Valley Christian (1-6, 4-9). Kristen Mulligan scored 18 for Santa Margarita (4-3 in league play).

Orange Lutheran 47, Whitney 35--Ann Marty scored 17 points, Jackie Bagatourian added 14 and Devon Koster 13 for Orange Lutheran (8-5, 4-3). Whitney (5-7, 2-5) was led by Moon Kim, who scored 14 points.

In the Orange League:

Brea-Olinda 104, Anaheim 17--Tammy Blackburn scored 29 points to lead host Brea-Olinda (14-2, 4-0). Jody Anton scored 19 and Cathy Lewis and Jinelle Williams 12 each for Brea-Olinda, which led, 30-2, after the first quarter and, 59-8, at the half.

In the Pacific Coast League:

Woodbridge 61, Laguna Beach 33--Liz Stal scored 26 points for Laguna Beach, but didn’t get much help. Leslie Rathbun’s 24 points led a more-balanced attack for Woodbridge (14-5, 4-0). Laguna Beach fell to 1-3 in league play.

Orange 43, Costa Mesa 32--Alin Perez had 15 points and Ginnie Hall added 11 points and 17 rebounds for Orange (9-7, 2-2). Costa Mesa (1-3 in league play) was led by Kim Good’s 8 points.

In the South Coast League:

Mission Viejo 70, El Toro 67--El Toro led, 19-16, at the end of the first quarter but Mission Viejo outscored the Chargers, 21-4, in the second quarter. El Toro got as close as 3, twice in the final minute, but got no closer. Tina Ranker has 16 points and 13 assists to lead Mission Viejo, which had all 5 starters in double figures. Jennifer Rohrig had 16 points, Kristin Okura 15 and 14 rebounds, Sannon Morgan 12 points and Nauta Derrie 12 points for Mission Viejo (16-3, 5-0). Kristen Bevis scored 30 and Karoe Yoshioka had 19 points, 8 assists and 5 steals for El Toro (12-8, 3-2).

In the Sunset League:

Ocean View 62, Marina 38--Fabiola Nunez scored 18 points and Jenny Sullivan added 16 to lead Ocean View (20-2, 5-0). Melisa Sortino totaled 17 points for Marina (15-5, 3-2).

Fountain Valley 58, Huntington Beach 36--Stacy Hisaka scored 20 points and Kami Bigler added 10 for Fountain Valley (4-1 in league play). For Huntington Beach (3-13, 1-4), Jennifer Ambrose scored 15 points and 15 rebounds.
