San Diego
A 51-year-old San Diego man apparently shot his 22-year-old son several times during a dispute Wednesday morning, then turned the gun on himself, police said.
David Patterson Henley, who lived in the 1300 block of Tradewind Avenue, apparently shot and killed his son, David Elver Henley, about 6 a.m. in a bedroom of the house before going out to the back yard and killing himself, police said.
Police were called by Doris Ussery, who said her mother, Tomoe Henley, had just called to tell her of the shooting.
