CS Long Beach to Play Host to Pacific
Cal State Long Beach, which has lost starting forward Rolf Jacobs for the season because of a knee injury, will play host to the University of the Pacific in a Big West Conference game at 7:30 tonight in the university gym.
Jacobs, who was averaging 7.7 points and seven rebounds a game, was hurt during the 49ers’ 58-54 victory Saturday night at San Jose State. He will be replaced by Rudy Harvey.
The 49ers are also still without reserve center Marco Fleming, who has missed four games with a broken leg.
Long Beach is 9-11 overall and 6-5 in the Big West. Pacific is 5-14 and 1-9.
