Golddiggers Defeat Starlites in San Jose

Laurie Corbelli had 18 kills as the San Jose Golddiggers defeated the Los Angeles Starlites, 13-15, 15-8, 15-13, 15-5, Sunday in a women’s Major League Volleyball match in front of 2,209 at the San Jose Civic Auditorium.

Sherri Brinkman-Reilly had 16 kills for the Starlites (1-1). San Jose is also 1-1.
