Lazers Win in Second Overtime, 10-9
Michael Collins scored 1:36 into the second overtime period to give the Los Angeles Lazers a 10-9 Major Indoor Soccer League victory over the San Diego Sockers at the Forum Thursday night.
The Sockers had tied the game with two seconds remaining in regulation on a goal by Kevin Crow.
Trailing, 4-3, at halftime, the Lazers scored four goals in less than four minutes of the third quarter.
The Sockers rallied again, tying the game, 7-7,
Marinaro and Doug Neely put the Lazers ahead, 9-7, but the Sockers (16-14) battled back.
