Local News in Brief : Santa Ana : Bill Medley to Perform Concert at Alma Mater
Grammy-award winner Bill Medley, formerly of the Righteous Brothers, will return to his alma mater, Santa Ana High School, to perform a benefit concert Sunday as part of the school’s centennial celebration.
Medley, a 1958 Santa Ana High graduate, will perform free. Profits will support other centennial events and go into an alumni fund for the school.
The concert will be held at the high school and begins at 4 p.m.
Tickets are $25 each and can be reserved by calling (714) 542-7802 or (714) 538-0252. They also can be purchased at a barbecue that will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, the day of the concert.
