Former First Lady Nancy Reagan has been suffering from “walking pneumonia” but is on the mend, a spokesman said today.
Mark Weinberg, spokesman for former President Ronald Reagan, said Mrs. Reagan, who has been recovering at home, is “feeling better.”
Weinberg added that the former First Lady has not had “10 minutes to catch her breath” since the Reagans left the White House and moved back to California in January. He said she had to unpack and move into their new Bel Air home and travel to New York to work on her book with biographer William Novak. The Reagans spent last weekend at their mountaintop ranch near Santa Barbara, Weinberg said, “and loved it.”
