IN BRIEF : College Quarterback Shot at Party
Matt Sayre, an Eastern Washington University quarterback, was in satisfactory condition after being shot during a weekend party.
Sayre, 20, underwent surgery to repair an artery in his right arm at Deaconess Medical Center after being shot early Sunday. Police were looking for two men who a witness said were acquaintances of someone at the party but were asked to leave when they became obnoxious.
