Torrey Pines 3, Fallbrook 1--John Lynch went two for three with an RBI, and John Finley went the distance, striking out eight, for Torrey Pines (8-9-1, 1-4).

Sweetwater 3, Coronado 0--Sweetwater’s Larry Meza pitched a one-hitter.

Castle Park 8, Marian 6--Bobby Cardenas doubled to drive in Juan Beltran with the winning run in the seventh.

Chula Vista 10, Mar Vista 3--Armando Navarro hit a two-run home run in the third, Donnie Edwards hit one with none on in the fourth, and Matthew Salts hit a two-run homer in the fifth for Chula Vista (6-11, 4-2). Winner Garrard Galvan (4-5) went the distance.

Montgomery 10, Southwest 8--Mauricio Martinez hit a bases-loaded triple in the fifth for Montgomery (7-8, 2-3).

Bonita Vista 5, Hilltop 0--Freshman pitcher Jorge Millan led visiting Bonita Vista, retiring 11 of the last 12 Hilltop batters en route to a six-hit shutout. Craig Costello hit a two-run home run for Bonita Vista (9-11, 3-3). Hilltop is 4-12, 1-5.

Avocado League

Oceanside 7, San Marcos 5--The Pirates shot to a 7-0 lead before giving up five unearned runs on four errors in the sixth. In the seventh, San Marcos loaded the bases before Andrew Acevedo came in to strike out Robert Picino and induce a game-ending double play.

Ramona 6, San Pasqual 3--Home runs by Chris Gunnett, Troy Wood and Salvador Lopez lifted host Ramona (8-6, 3-3). Gunnett (4-2) also came on in relief in the sixth to earn the win for Ramona. Mike Escarcega (7-2) took the loss for San Pasqual (13-5, 4-2).

Escondido 3, Rancho Buena Vista 1--Robert McLeod (5-2) went the distance but lost for Rancho Buena Vista (10-8, 3-3).

Carlsbad 9, El Camino 0--Brian Black hit a leadoff home run for Carlsbad, and things didn’t get any better for El Camino (4-14, 0-6).

Coastal League

Parker 10, Julian 7--Catcher Pietro LaGreca went three for four and scored two runs to lead Parker (9-6, 5-0).
