Warren Moon, quarterback of the Houston Oilers, received West Los Angeles College’s first Distinguished Alumnus Award at the college’s 20th anniversary celebration.
Moon, a Hamilton High School graduate, led WLAC to a conference championship in 1974 and was named the Pacific 8 Conference Player of the Year in his senior year at the University of Washington. He led the Edmonton Eskimos to five Canadian Football League championships.
