In other 3-A games:

El Capitan 13, Mar Vista 6--Robert Guerrero went three for four with three runs scored and two RBIs for No. 10 El Capitan (19-7-1). Mar Vista finished 11-14.

Patrick Henry 6, Monte Vista 5--The teams combined to use 10 pitchers and Patrick Henry did not pull it out until the 11th when Johnny Dutra, running for Mike Coleman, who had singled, scored on Mike Chapman’s double.

Vista 8, Granite Hills 4--Rodney DeLeon went two for four with one RBI and Brian Flemming went two for three with one RBI for Vista (16-8-1. Granite Hills finished 15-13.

In 2-A games:

USDHS 7, Hoover 2--Jeff Desjardines went two for three and Chad Davidson went two for four with and RBI for No. 7 USDHS (21-5). Hoover finished at 15-12.

San Pasqual 14, Clairemont 5--Kevin Herde hit a two-run homer in the third for San Pasqual (18-9). Herde (7-4) the winner, went two for four with three RBIs. Clairemont finished 13-13.

Rancho Buena Vista 11, Santana 2--RBV scored nine runs in the seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie. Steve Valencia went three for five with two RBIs for RBV (16-11). Santana finished 15-10-1.

In 1-A games:

Borrego Springs 1, Julian 0--Seth Hibdon scored for Borrego Springs (16-5). Julian finished 10-12.

Parker 3, Calapatria 0--William Beamer struck out 13 and allowed only one walk for top-seeded Parker (18-6). Calapatria finished 8-11.

Imperial 6, Bishop’s 5 (9 innings)--Gerardo Castillo scored the winning run in the ninth on Mario Cobian’s single. Castillo, who went three for five with two RBIs, singled, and went to second on an intentional walk to Jaime Ponce.

Castillo pitched all nine innings for Imperial (11-8) and struck out eight.
