SportScope : Heat, Fighting for Lead, at Home Against Santa Barbara

The Los Angeles Heat of the Western Soccer League plays host to Real Santa Barbara in a South Division match Saturday night at 7 at West High School in Torrance. The Heat split its matches last week, dropping a 1-0 final at Portland before taking a 4-2 victory at California of Van Nuys. The Heat is in second place in the WSL South, a point behind the San Diego Nomads. San Diego defeated Real Santa Barbara, 2-0, May 26. L.A. announced that the time for its June 18 game with Seattle at West High has been changed from 4 to 5 p.m.

Stock cars take a break June 11 so the track can run an enduro race of 150 laps for foreign and domestic factory compacts.
