A judge has ordered the wife of Washington Redskin quarterback Doug Williams to surrender to police in a dispute over a $75,000 check made out to her husband.

State District Judge Mike Ponder found evidence to arrest Lisa Williams for suspicion of forgery, and gave her until noon Friday to surrender or face arrest.

During a recent court hearing, Lisa Williams testified that she is an officer of a corporation set up to handle Williams’ endorsements and is allowed legal access to endorsement proceeds.
