We Called It Puppy Love, but Fans Say We’ll Never Know . . .

Share

I am writing in regard to your so-called article on the New Kids on the Block. How can anyone call that an article? All you did throughout the entire article was insult them, put them down, make fun of their style and make fun of their fans.

Congratulations, Mr. Willman, I think you covered every rude and inconsiderate thing possible! Are you going for a record or something?

In my opinion, you are an embarrassment to Los Angeles. These guys come all the way from Boston to give two shows and they get cut down by some insensitive reporter! I guess they’ll just be jumping with joy to come back.

I went to both June 4 shows, and I thought they were excellent. It takes a lot to be able to give two powerful and sincere performances with only two hours between.

You obviously didn’t care for Joe’s “Please Don’t Go, Girl” or Donnie’s “Hangin’ Tough,” but what about everything else? Jordan was definitely soulful on “I’ll be Loving You” and “My Favorite Girl”--plus “The Right Stuff.” You’d be lying if you said you couldn’t feel the excitement in the air! Not to mention Jon and Danny on backups! The songs would be dead without their funky moves and harmonies!

Maybe in future articles you could use a little tact.

P.S.: After seeing those funky moves on stage, the New Kids can’t be that wholesome.
