A Tustin man remained in critical condition Monday after he was stabbed several times in the chest during an argument in an apartment he shared with another man.
Cesar Zavala, 28, is being treated for stab wounds at Western Medical Center in Santa Ana. Police are looking for his roommate, Angel Bustamante, 44, in connection with the attempted murder at 14300 Newport Ave. in Tustin, according to police spokeswoman Terri Helsel.
Bustamante allegedly used a sharp instrument to attack Zavala about 5:20 a.m. Sunday after the two had argued over an unknown matter, Helsel said. Bustamante apparently fled the apartment after the incident, she said.
