The World Boxing Council super-flyweight title fight between champion Gilberto Roman and Santos Lacier, scheduled for July 31, has been rescheduled for Sept. 12 or 27 at the Forum. Roman injured his hand while training, causing doctors to suggest the bout to be delayed two months.
Taking the place of the title fight will be a 12-round bout between Hector Lopez of Glendale and Santos Moreno.
