Body Identified as Canoga Park Woman

A body found at the side of a road in an undeveloped area of Simi Valley was identified Sunday as that of a Canoga Park woman, police said.
The victim was identified as Linda Lee Anderson, 47, said Sgt. Pat Hopkins of the Simi Valley Police Department. Hopkins said the Ventura County coroner’s office had determined that Anderson died of strangulation.
Her fully clothed body was found by a hiker Friday morning at the north end of Kuehner Drive, just north of the Simi Valley Freeway.
No other details about the death were available.
