Carpinteria 36, Calabasas 0--In a steady rainfall, Calabasas fumbled five consecutive times in the first half at Agoura High, each fumble leading to a touchdown.

Warrior quarterback Coley Candaele rushed for two touchdowns and completed nine of 12 passes, including his last seven in a row, for 110 yards. Tailback Izak Ondre carried nine times for 33 yards and two touchdowns for Carpinteria (2-0), a Tri-Valley League team that has defeated two Frontier League teams by a combined score of 92-0.

Quarterback Ronnie Adelman of Calabasas completed five of 12 passes for 73 yards and threw one interception. After Calabasas (0-2) moved 84 yards to the Warrior one in the fourth quarter, Carpinteria defensive back Hai Pham intercepted an Adelman pass in the end zone to thwart the Coyotes’ best scoring opportunity.
