Joyner Named Angel of Week

Wally Joyner, who drove in the winning run in consecutive late-inning victories over the New York Yankees last Tuesday and Wednesday, is The Times’ Orange County Edition Angel of the Week. Joyner’s ninth-inning single gave the Angels a 7-6 victory on Tuesday, and his 10th-inning single gave the Angels a 4-3 victory on Wednesday.

The Times will donate $200 in Joyner’s name to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Orange County.
