Bill Press and Bill Pearl will take calls from listeners and comment on the day’s events on the new show, “The Dueling Bills,” Monday through Friday from 3-4 p.m. The double Bills replace Wink Martindale and Bill Smith, starting next Monday. As previously announced, Superfan (Ed Bieler) will host a daily sports call-in show from 4-8 p.m. Veteran radio personality Dick Whittington will take on the 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Sunday hours, with former KLSX morning deejay Peter Tilden anchoring from 2-4 p.m. Whittington and Tilden will be paired Saturdays from 1-5 p.m. Behind the scenes, Wally Sherwin, program director of KABC Talkradio for 8 1/2 years, returned to the station this week as executive producer of on-air programming.
