THE SIDELINES : Playoff Bumps 49ers-Saints Game
The New Orleans Saints-San Francisco 49ers game, scheduled for Oct. 8 at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, has been shifted to New Orleans because the San Francisco Giants will host the Chicago Cubs that day in a National League playoff game, the NFL announced today.
The 49ers-Saints game will be played at the Louisiana Superdome at 1 p.m. PDT.
Another 49ers-Saints game originally scheduled to be played Nov. 6 at the Superdome will be moved to San Francisco, and will be played at 6 p.m. PDT.
