Hit-Run Accident Kills Anaheim Man
Police were searching Saturday for the driver of a black Chevrolet Camaro who struck and killed a 20-year-old Anaheim bicyclist in a hit-and-run accident in Anaheim.
The victim, Luis Daniel Govez Navarette, was riding a bicycle in the 100 block of East La Palma Avenue about 1:30 a.m. Saturday when he was struck, Police Lt. John Haradon said. Witnesses described the driver as an adult male.
Navarette was in critical condition when paramedics arrived. He died at 4:10 a.m. at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
