Missing Man’s Body Found in Castaic Lake

The body of a 23-year old Los Angeles man was found Sunday morning in lower Castaic Lake, a day after his brother reported him missing, authorities said.
Miguel Sanchez is believed to have drowned accidentally Saturday afternoon, but an autopsy will be conducted, said Lt. Ed Chenal of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Sanchez’s brother reported him missing Saturday. Deputies in a helicopter spotted the body about 11:30 a.m. Sunday in shallow water in the lower lake, Chenal said.
