Crawford Quits SDSU Football

Running back Daryl Crawford has quit the San Diego State football team, Coach Al Luginbill said Wednesday.
Crawford, who led San Diego County in rushing as a senior at Montgomery High School in 1985, never played in a game at SDSU. His father, Charles, said his son left the team late last week because he did not believe he would get a chance to play.
Crawford, a senior, is the 21st scholarship player to quit since Luginbill took over as coach last November.
