Police have arrested a 19-year-old reputed gang member who allegedly shot and killed a man who tried to crash a wedding anniversary party, authorities said.

Hilario Lopez of North Hollywood was taken into custody about 5 p.m. Thursday when he went to pick up a paycheck at a North Hollywood moving company where he had worked part time before recently quitting, Los Angeles Police Lt. William Gaida said. He was arraigned Friday on one count each of murder and street terrorism and two counts of attempted murder, Gaida said.

Lopez allegedly shot Rojelio Galvan, 22, once in the head with a shotgun as Galvan and another man tried to drive away in a pickup after attempting to crash the party at Emerson Unitarian Church in Canoga Park on Oct. 19, Gaida said. The shooting followed a fight in the street outside the church between Galvan and his group and North Hollywood gang members, including Lopez, who had been invited to the party, police said.
