Los Angeles police were investigating a fatal shooting that occurred about 5 p.m. Monday on a Van Nuys street.
The victim, a man, was not identified and homicide detectives had released no information late Monday about him or the motive for the slaying, which occurred in the 7400 block of Woodman Avenue.
“We don’t know why the shooting went down,” Officer Richard Parks said. “At this point, it’s very sketchy.”
No suspects were in custody, Parks said.
